Job Description:

Role: Supply Planner - Mars Wrigley

Location: Gurugram
Business Unit: Mars Wrigley, India

Job Purpose: We’re looking for a Supply Planner who can rely on surveys of consumption data, theavailable stocks and planning of the activities to generate information,aiming at the analysis of the turnover of the materials, the better planning of purchases and stocks needed. This role acts as the bridge between demand and factories, while giving critical inputs to customer service function and project management.

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you’ll have experience in the supply chain, including experience with inventory management or materials planning.

You’ll have worked within Fast Moving Consumer Goods organizations in the market. 

Adept in Excel/PPT skills & comfortable with numbers/Data Analysis

Diploma/PG Diploma/MBA Supply Chain & Operations

3 years of experience with Excellent Communication Skills

Should have managed Planning (Demand/Material/Supply/Procurement) for a FMCG company

Experience in a Software platform/ERP will be an advantage.

What will be your key responsibilities?

You will perform planning activities following our model.

You will maintain daily contact with business-critical suppliers and resolve complex supplier incidents.

Convert demand plans for Imports and exports for GMFC SKUs. Coordinate with markets outside India to receive orders for production and Export from India

Partnering with Factories/CoMAN & COPACK & Demand team to optimize customer service/demand fulfillment & costs

Building relationships and collaborating with plants (Domestic/Import) to get correct quantities with the right freshness

Plan for effective inventory management: Determining safety stocks, inventory policies, minimizing write-offs SLOB (Slow Moving and Obsolete) monitoring and control
