Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management:
    • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
    • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  2. Tally ERP Expertise:
    • Utilize Tally ERP for all accounting processes including invoicing, inventory management, and financial reporting.
    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
    • Generate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements using Tally ERP.
  3. GST Compliance:
    • Manage the entire GST filing process, including preparation, submission, and compliance with all GST regulations.
    • Stay updated on changes in GST laws and ensure the organization’s adherence to them.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities for GST-related queries and assessments.
  4. Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Prepare and analyze budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
    • Monitor the organization’s financial performance by comparing actual results with budgeted figures.
  5. Audit & Compliance:
    • Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  6. Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to enhance productivity and job satisfaction.
  7. Reporting:
    • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.
    • Prepare reports for regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission.
  8. Vendor & Client Management:
    • Oversee vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
    • Manage client billing and collections, ensuring accounts receivable are maintained at an optimal level.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Tally ERP.
    • Strong knowledge of GST laws and filing processes.
    • Advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or CMA.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or service industry.
  • Familiarity with other accounting software.
