We are looking for a Chief Project Expert System (System Integration) for an upcoming project in Gurugram, India at Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting .

Gurgaon is a satellite city of Delhi located in the northwestern Indian state of Haryana and is part of the National Capital Region of India. It is 32 km southwest of New Delhi and 268 km (167 mi) south of Chandigarh, the state capital. A number of initiatives have been taken in recent years to improve the Transport Infrastructure in the City and to provide better public transport facilities to the commuters. However, the growing needs of commuters and city have led city planning agencies to plan and create additional infrastructure facilities to serve the future travel needs. GMRL engaged a Consulting company to prepare the DPR for Metro Rail Connection from Millennium City Centre - Cyber City and Metro Spur to Dwarka Expressway. 

Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) intends to implement Millennium City Centre- Cyber City Corridor" of Gurgaon Metro. Field of professional services provided as a General Consultant are, among others, Project Management Construction Supervision Consultant. Duration of the project is planned for 4 years.

Key aspects of this role include but are not limited to:

Lead the System integration and testing & commissioning team. Be responsible for the overall technical coordination of the project, including RAMS, system integration and interface management, system safety and safety certification of the systems on the project and testing & commissioning of the system as a whole. Develop the interfacing strategy and planning for completing the systems interfaces activities. Be a focal point with interface works package contractors and designated interface contractors and suppliers. Perform impact analysis for the interface requirements and design changes and advise the impact of the changes to the management for decision making. Be instrumental in RAMS analysis, setting RAMS targets for each system and ensuring that RAMS targets and objectives are achieved in the operational metro system. Manage and offer real-time mitigation strategies for the interface resolution process. Produce interface management plans and interface control documents for each of the system interfaces. Prepare regular reports on progress and interface resolution issues and mitigation measures Get fully involved in Oscillation Trials and final systems integrated testing, testing & commissioning and trial running of the System. Assist client in obtaining the requisite approvals from MOR and CMRS certification for commencement of commercial operations on the corridor.  Provide support and training to the systems interface management team. Contribute in preparation/finalization of relevant O&M manual and in planning the training for O&M staff of Client. Graduated in Civil Engineering; Masters Degree is an advantage. At least 20 years of Professional experience. Profound experience in Metro Rail project. More than 7 years of experience in similar designation, in the same rank or equivalent in the General consultancy / General engineering consultancy / Project management consultancy / Independent engineers for project implementation authority for Metro rail projects. Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more developed country. Minimum 1 year of experience in one ore more developing country. Fluent English knowledge is required.
