We are looking for a Chief Quality Assurance & Quality Control Expert for an upcoming project in Gurugram, India at Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting .

Gurgaon is a satellite city of Delhi located in the northwestern Indian state of Haryana and is part of the National Capital Region of India. It is 32 km southwest of New Delhi and 268 km (167 mi) south of Chandigarh, the state capital. A number of initiatives have been taken in recent years to improve the Transport Infrastructure in the City and to provide better public transport facilities to the commuters. However, the growing needs of commuters and city have led city planning agencies to plan and create additional infrastructure facilities to serve the future travel needs. GMRL engaged a Consulting company to prepare the DPR for Metro Rail Connection from Millennium City Centre – Cyber City and Metro Spur to Dwarka Expressway. 

Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) intends to implement Millennium City Centre- Cyber City Corridor” of Gurgaon Metro. Field of professional services provided as a General Consultant are, among others, Project Management Construction Supervision Consultant. Duration of the project is planned for 4 years.

Key aspects of this role include but are not limited to:

Overall responsible for implementation of Quality Management System (QMS). Attend the meetings on the issues related to QMS and submission of reports to the project management team. Review and approval of the quality assurance plan, onsite and offshore testing plans, factory inspection plan, checklists and method statements. Finalize audit plan, inspection and test plan, quality assurance plan and checklists related to QMS Responsible for implementation of the QA plan in every aspect during construction and submission of reports to the project management team. Review and update existing quality management system and manuals for quality control and quality assurance. Graduated in civil engineering or electrical engineering; Masters degree is an advantage. At least 15 years of professional experience. Profound experience in Metro Rail project More than 5 years of experience in similar designation, in the same rank or equivalent in the General consultancy / General engineering consultancy / Project management consultancy / Independent engineers for project implementation authority for Metro rail projects. Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more developed country. minimum 1 year of experience in one ore more developing country. English knowledge is required.
