As a Technical Expert in Protection & Control Engineering, youwill be accountable for advanced engineering activities concerning relayprotection and control design for high voltage substations and transmissionprojects. Leveraging your deep expertise, you will directly oversee and guidecomplex protective relaying and control systems projects.

Oversee and provideexpertise in the analysis and design of single line diagrams. Lead the development of substation relaying& metering diagrams (i.e., A.C. schematic diagrams), and D.C. Schematicsfor advanced design. Compile specifications& Bill of Material for Protection/Control/Metering/RTU/ CommunicationPanels.
Conceptualize and develop advancedsubstation control system and Communication interfaces including RTUs, HMIs,and IEDs. Design sophisticatedProtection and Control Panel layouts. Create high-level CableSchedules for Substations. Conduct Factory AcceptanceTest for Protection and Control Panels.
Collaborate closely with other senior engineering and design team members tocoordinate overall design and requirements during execution and commissioningphases.
Translate and drive customer requirements into Siemens solutions. Review and approve alltechnical deliverables, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
Identify and support training needs on subject matter for the team, fostering aculture of continuous learning and improvement.

We don’t need superheroes,just super minds:

A bachelor’s degree orequivalent with a background in Electrical Engineering, a master's degree ispreferred.
• 15+ years of experience with a focus on protection/control/communicationsdesign for substations.
• Proven track record in writing and overseeing support documentation for relaycalculations.
• Expertise in ANSI standards, IEC standards knowledge is a definite advantage.
• Expertise with various vendor protective relay equipment typically used insubstation protection, including SEL, Siemens, GE.
• Expertise in Configuration Tools for protection relays from different vendors(SEL, Siemens, Hitachi, GE, Schneider, etc.) and control systems.
• Expertise with Ebase and Auto-CAD.
• Deep hands-on experience with the following is preferred:
• DIGSI-4 & DIGSI-5
• Relay Configuration tool of GE, ABBor equivalent.
• Extensive experience working with System Integrators.
• In-depth experience and knowledge in working with different relayapplications.
