Overview:The LogisticsExecutive plays a crucial role in managing the supply chain andensuring the efficient flow of goods. They are responsible foroverseeing vendor management and optimizing logistics processes tomeet the organizations operational needs.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Manage and optimizethe supply chain and logisticsoperations.
  • Oversee vendor management anddevelop strong relationships withsuppliers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods andmaterials.
  • Monitor and control inventory levelsto minimize stockouts and overstock.
  • Coordinatelogistics and transportation to optimize efficiency andcosts.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the supplychain and implement solutions to improveprocesses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams toforecast demand and plan inventorylevels.
  • Implement and maintain effectivelogistics and warehouse strategies.
  • Provideregular reports on logistics performance metrics andKPIs.
  • Resolve any issues or disruptions in thesupply chain effectively and promptly.
  • Ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements and industrystandards.
  • Participate in the selection andevaluation of logistics partners and serviceproviders.
  • Contribute to the development oflogistics strategies and initiatives.
  • Stayupdated with industry trends and best practices in logistics andsupply chain management.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inLogistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration orrelevant field.
  • Proven experience in logisticsoperations supply chain management or a relatedrole.
  • Strong understanding of vendor managementand procurement processes.
  • Excellent analyticaland problemsolving skills to optimize logisticsprocesses.
  • Proficiency in inventory control andmanagement.
  • Solid knowledge of transportationregulations and logistics technology.
  • Abilityto use data and metrics to drive logistics and supply chainimprovements.
  • Effective communication andnegotiation abilities for vendorrelationships.
  • Detailoriented with the abilityto manage multiple taskssimultaneously.
  • Proficient in using logisticssoftware and MS Office applications.
  • Ability towork effectively in a fastpaced and dynamicenvironment.
  • Strong leadership and teamworkskills to collaborate with crossfunctionalteams.
  • Certification in logistics or supplychain management is a plus.
  • Proven track recordof costsaving and process optimization inlogistics.
