Director of Engineering

About theRole:
Weare looking for a candidate who will be responsible for workingdirectly with development support implementation and other internalteams as well as external vendors and clients. The Director ofEngineering will be responsible for overseeing and managing allaspects of the engineering department within the organization. Thisrole requires strong leadership skills technical expertise and astrategic mindset to drive innovation and ensure the successfuldelivery of engineeringprojects.
Youwill work directly with the CEO/CTO and will act as both atechnology and business expert making decisions that will impactthe current and future operations of thecompany.
Skillsand QualificationsRequired:

• Musthave handson experience in Java Front end technologies likeBootstrap jQuery AWS Modular software development multitenantarchitecture and highly scalable systems.
• Musthave a minimum of 810 years of experience demonstrating requiredskills and competencies in engineering
• BSc/BAin Computer Science Engineering or a related field; MS/MBA or otherrelevant graduate degree is a plus.
• Must havehands on Full stack architectureexperience
• Have indepth conceptual functionaland nonfunctional knowledge of Docker Containers Kubernetes Clustermanagement and orchestration microservice architectures DevOpspractices and tooling.
• Previous leadership ormanagement experience required
• Strongcommunication skills are a requirement as this position must buildconsensus with numerous internal and external resources andeffectively influence the technical direction of projects in orderto be successful.
• Ability to determine the bestimplementation approach/methodology for assigned project(s) basedon established guidelines and best practices and determineappropriate strategy for ensuring desiredobjectives.
• Must be very flexible with learningnew technologyquickly.
