JobRole:

  • Developoverall and intermittent plans as per the programobjectives.
  • Supportthe program to develop micro level actionplans
  • Identifyand introduce new strategic choices for achieving optimumresults.
  • Supportplans under the respective project to develop monthlyimplementation plans review the same on a monthly basis and improvethesame.
  • Carryout overall financial planning and support the projects to do thesame.
  • Supportthe organization for human resource planning with regard toconcernedprojects.
  • Maintainpartner relations and ensure compliance including visibility andreporting.
  • Monitorthe smooth implementation of activities ofprojects.
  • Supportthe project teams in monitoring different projectactivities.
  • Conductperiodic planning and reviewmeetings.
  • Developvarious reporting formats to help the projects for systematicreporting.
  • Carryout field visits to assess the progress of programimplementation.
  • Apprisethe staff on the progress of implementation of theproject.
  • Carryout internal evaluation at regular intervals of theprojects.
  • Supportthe external evaluation team to assess program implementation attheprojects.
  • Providetimely feedback on the project evaluation and itsfindings.
  • Carryout timely corrective measures based on the evaluation report andensure quality of service in the programimplementation.
  • Developthe fundraising strategy for eye care program to raise substantialfunds and ensure that longterm growth targets aremet.
  • Willliaise with donors & other stakeholders to start eye careoperations in appropriate operational areas of CareNetram.
  • Workclosely with the corporates for CSRgrants.
  • Workclosely with trusts andfoundations.
  • Develop new initiatives for project proposals; within the agreedframework of the policy of CareNetram.


GENERALACTIVITIES:


  • Supporthospitals to enter into MOUs with District administrations forsmooth implementation of the project activities (ifneeded).
  • Developrapport with the other stakeholders at state and districtlevel.
  • Assessthe training needs of the staff and arrange for necessary trainingsin discussion with linemanager
  • Reviewperiodically the achievements of projects in relation to actionplans and submit reports to linemanager.
  • Analysemonthly quarterly data of projects and update Senior Management onthesame.


Requirements

SKILLS

PlanningMonitoring & Evaluation of theproject

Familiarity withtechniques of Monitoring & Evaluation; capable of producingclear cogent and well thought out documents inEnglish

Ability to writeproject proposals for variousdonors

Support theproject to develop micro level actionplans

Ability toidentify and introduce new strategic choices for achieving optimumresults

Ability to planactivities prioritize schedules and review performance againstobjectives to achieve projectgoals.

Excellent Verbaland written communication skills in English; Working knowledge oflocallanguage

Good datamanagement and analyzingskills

QUALIFICATION&EXPERIENCE

Post GraduateDegree in Public Health / Social work / MBA (Rural/Hospital Mgt)from a recognizeduniversity.

Candidates withDiploma in Project/General Management will bepreferred.

Atleast 5 years of postqualification experience in Senior / Midmanagerial level in NGO s / INGOs;

Preferredworking experience in Eye careprojects/programmes

Must beproactive in job approach and mature in dealing withpeople.
