Weare looking for a talented and experienced Vulnerability ManagementAutomation App Developer in Python to join our team and work on aproject for our client one of our clients. You will be responsiblefor developing testing and deploying a webbased application thatautomates the vulnerability management process and integrates withvarious security tools. You will also collaborate with otherdevelopers cybersecurity experts and project managers to deliverhighquality solutions that meet the clients needs andexpectations.
Responsibilities
Review and analyzethe current state of vulnerability management posture and processesat client.
Define the future state requirements for theVulnerability Management Automation Application and contribute tothe roadmap planning.
Develop source code and relatedcomponents for the front end back end database data lake workflowsdashboards and integrations of the application using Python andother technologies.
Integrate the application withvarious vulnerability scanning tools used by client such as QualysAmazon Inspector etc.
Ensure adherence to codingstandards quality standards and best practices.
Test theapplication with a subset of existing critical vulnerabilities andfix any defects identified by DII or Client.
Work on thegolive planning and support the golive activities.
Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to Client.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or relatedfield.
At least 5 years of experience in developingwebbased enterprise applications using Python and relatedframeworks and libraries.
Some experience in workingwith cybersecurity tools and solutions especially vulnerabilitymanagement and scanning tools.
Strong knowledge of webdevelopment technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript jQueryBootstrap etc.
Strong knowledge of database and datalake technologies such as SQL NoSQL MongoDB Hadoop etc.
Strong knowledge of web services and APIs such as REST SOAP JSONXML etc.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing platformssuch as AWS Azure Google Cloud etc.
Strong knowledge ofagile development methodologies such as Scrum Kanbanetc.
Strong communication collaboration andproblemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently andas part of a team.
Ability to work remotely and acrossdifferent time zones.
