Responsibilities:

• Capacityplanning & monitoring performance tuning for MicroStrategyinfrastructure.
• Defining and implementing theprocedures for migration of MicroStrategy application andconfiguration objects from QA to production.
• Perform MicroStrategy security and administration for allinternal and external users including the creation / modificationof MicroStrategy roles LDAP groups and user interfaceportals.
• Handle the implementation testing anddocumentation of new and updated MicroStrategyreporting/Configuration packages to be moved into staging /production environment
• Implement patches andother daytoday MicroStrategy content administration tasks includingcreating folders/reports/users and migrating reports/folders/usersfrom Dev to QA to Production.
• Support allMicroStrategy configuration requirements including working withDBAs to set up and test new data sources used by MicroStrategycreating new MicroStrategy security roles and setting up new usersecurity and reporting interfaces for users.
• Support developers by troubleshooting reporting issuesrelated to MicroStrategy configurations and/orcubes/reports/dashboards

• Set up monitoring and alerts notifications for keyperformance indicators for the MicroStrategyinfrastructure

Required:

• Hands onexperience on Installation configuration and deployment ofMicroStrategy tool and clients.
• Conversantwith the tools in MicroStrategy suite e.g. Developer CommandManager Architect Object Manager License Manager
• Experience in Capacity sizing/Planning of MicroStrategyinfrastructure components
• Hands on experienceon Linux/UNIX operating systems.
• Experience inSQL troubleshooting report failures project and Intelligence serverlevel governing settings and their impacts.
• Hands on experience on Report and Dashboarddevelopment
• Hands on experience onMicroStrategy SDK environment
