Job Purpose:

A MES Integration specialist is responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies around integration of Siemens Opcenter MES with manufacturing floor systems and top floor business systems. With a total experience between 8-12 years, they will be working with senior management to drive Standardization of the integration efforts with the sites engineers and system owners.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for being the bridge between various MES systems, Business systems, ERPs & cloud. Serve as technical expert or lead projects/programs and technical staff to develop, test and implement significant new products, or operational improvements or devise new approaches to problems at the division/business unit. Conduct investigation activity/research and give technical advice to the adoption or integration of new technologies and their business impact. Partner with the functional groups within the organization to communicate and clarify business needs, contribute to development of long-range system plans, and ensure products and services are aligned with business needs. Provides strategic consultancy support to customers in defining or designing business processes and researching and identifying enabling technologies based on customer requirements. Actively seek ways to apply technology to business processes, researching and providing information on technical trends and competitors' practices. Provide strategic guidance to the management about building next generation infrastructure keeping Industry 4.0 view. Develop, motivate, and provide direction to technical team in a way that facilitates the creation of a team environment and enables team to fulfill the department's operation objectives.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Possess knowledge, skills and experience in computer programming, database design, PLC programming and graphical software configuration preferably within the manufacturing sector. Possess technical knowledge and direct experience with database application (preferably MS SQL) and MES software packages (preferably Siemens Opcenter) Must be able to demonstrate and communicate a high-level understanding of both manufacturing business processes and IT/Computer system architecture. Must have direct experience with consulting and/or project management of similar systems and solutions. Requires ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending upon project scope.

Required Qualifications:

B.E. degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information System, , Management, Business Management, or other relevant discipline
