Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Production Planning and Quality Management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle implementations and support projects. This role requires expertise in SAP Manufacturing, integration with various modules, and the ability to handle both project and support activities effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to full-cycle SAP PP/QM implementations and support projects, including MRP, planned orders, and production orders.
  • Manage and execute at least one end-to-end implementation project, or handle minor projects and several mid-size change requests/enhancements in SAP.
  • Develop custom interfaces, reports, and programs (RICEFW) related to SAP Production Planning, converting business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with ABAP developers to deliver SAP enhancements and custom solutions, with basic ABAP debugging skills.
  • Work with SAP modules such as WM/eWM and FICO and integrate SAP ECC with external MES or other shop floor applications.
  • Support and resolve complex/ageing support tickets in addition to project and enhancement work.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting ideas and proofs of concept to large audiences.
  • Demonstrate a self-driven and task-oriented approach, completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Be a team player, open to working with the AMS team as needed.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) with hands-on experience in MRP, planned orders, and production orders.
  • Expertise in SAP Manufacturing, preferably in discrete manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience in SAP-related modules and QM integration with various SAP system modules.
  • Experience in managing full-cycle implementations or multiple mid-size change requests/enhancements.
  • Strong capability in developing custom interfaces, reports, and programs (RICEFW) and converting business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Basic ABAP debugging skills and experience working with ABAP developers.
  • Knowledge of SAP PP integration with WM/eWM and FICO, and integration of SAP ECC with external MES or shop floor applications is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present concepts to large audiences.
  • Self-driven and task-oriented, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in AMS (Application Management Services) support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling complex issues.
