Job Description - Knowledge Management  TL (5+ years) 
 
∙Strong technical writing, design, and user experience skills 
oTechnical Documentation: Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise technical 
documentation, including user manuals, release notes, and troubleshooting 
guides. This involves breaking down complex technical concepts into easy-to-
understand language for various audiences. 
oInstructional Design: Experience in designing instructional materials such as 
online courses, tutorials, and training modules. This includes structuring content 
in a logical sequence, incorporating interactive elements, and using multimedia to 
enhance learning experiences. 
oUX/UI Design Principles: Proficiency in UX/UI design principles and best 
practices, including wireframing, prototyping, and user testing. This involves 
creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that prioritize user needs and 
enhance usability. 
oInformation Architecture: Ability to organize and structure content effectively to 
improve findability and navigation within digital products or platforms. This 
includes creating sitemaps, taxonomies, and navigation systems that support 
intuitive user journeys. 
∙Creative problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to think strategically and 
act tactically 
oProblem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to overcome challenges 
and obstacles that may arise during task management and project execution. 
This involves identifying issues, brainstorming solutions, and implementing 
effective strategies to resolve them. 
oExamples of how you could determine this in an interview:  
Describe a situation where you had to think strategically to solve a 
problem. What tactics were used and what was the outcome? 
Provide an example of projects or tasks you’ve been involved with where 
attention to detail was critical to success. 
∙Ability to manage tasks (create, edit, and update knowledge materials) and meet 
deadlines individually and as a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 
Examples:  
oDocumentation Management: Experience in creating, editing, and updating 
knowledge materials such as manuals, guides, wikis, or documentation 
repositories using tools like Confluence, Google Docs, Oracle Knowledge or 
Microsoft SharePoint. 
oTime Management: Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently to meet 
deadlines, both individually and as part of a team. For instance, prioritizing tasks, 
setting realistic timelines, and allocating time effectively for each task. 
oCommunication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with 
team members, stakeholders, and clients. This includes providing timely updates 
on task progress, discussing requirements, and seeking clarification when 
needed. 
oAdaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-

 

 
paced environment. This involves being flexible and able to reprioritize tasks as 
needed to meet deadlines and project milestones. 
oCollaboration and Teamwork: Proven track record of working collaboratively with 
team members to achieve common goals. This includes actively participating in

necessary. 
∙Attention to Detail: Paying close attention to detail when creating, editing, and updating 
knowledge materials to ensure accuracy and completeness. This includes proofreading 
content, formatting documents correctly, and adhering to established guidelines and 
standards. 
oFeedback Incorporation: Willingness to receive feedback from team members or 
stakeholders and incorporate it into task management and knowledge material 
creation processes. This helps improve the quality of work and ensures 
alignment with project objectives. 
oOwnership and Accountability: Taking ownership of assigned tasks and 
demonstrating accountability for meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality 
work. This involves being proactive, taking initiative, and taking responsibility for 
the outcomes of individual and team efforts. 
∙Proficient in HTML, CSS, and other web development tools and languages 
oCreating Structured Web Pages: Proficient in HTML involves the ability to create 
well-structured web pages using appropriate HTML tagging. 
oSemantic HTML: Understanding and implementing semantic HTML elements for 
better accessibility and SEO 
oForm Development: Building forms using HTML elements, including validation 
and submission techniques. 
oHyperlinks and Anchors: Proficiency in creating hyperlinks and anchors to 
navigate within the page or link to external resources. 
oMultimedia Integration: Embedding multimedia content such as images, videos, 
and audio  
oCross-Browser Compatibility: Ensuring compatibility across different web 
browsers and understanding browser-specific quirks in HTML rendering. 
oBasic CSS Integration: While not directly related to HTML, proficiency may also 
involve basic understanding of CSS for styling HTML elements. 
oAccessibility Considerations: Knowledge of making web content
