Overview ofRole:

Roles &Responsibilities:

StrategyDevelopment:

As an ETL TestManager you will contribute to the organizations data integrity andsupport data
driven decisionmaking by ensuring theaccuracy and reliability of our data integrationprocesses.
Your leadership and technical skills will beessential in delivering highquality ETL solutions tomeet
business needs.

Define anddevelop the overall ETL testing strategy including test planningtest design and

executionapproaches.

Collaborate with stakeholders tounderstand business requirements data sources

transformation rules and integration points.

Test Planning and Design:

Leadthe creation of comprehensive ETL test plans test cases and testscripts ensuring
coverage of data validationtransformation reconciliation and data integrity checks.
Identify and document test scenarios based on business logic andtechnical requirements.

Build and manage ateam of ETL testers providing mentorship guidance andregular

feedback to ensure the teams growthand effectiveness.

Allocate resources assigntasks and monitor progress to ensure timely andhighquality
team Leadership deliverables.



Test Execution:

Oversee the execution of ETL test cases troubleshootissues and work closely with the

developmentand data teams to resolve defects and inconsistencies.

Monitor and track testing progress providing statusupdates and reports to stakeholders.

Evaluate opportunities for test automation to improve efficiencyand repeatability of ETL

TestAutomation:

testing processes.

Implement and manage automated ETL testing frameworksand tools.



Defect Management:

Identify logand manage defects and issues discovered during testing andcollaborate with

development teams to ensuretimely resolution.

Conduct root causeanalysis and provide recommendations for processimprovements.

Enforce data quality standardsand best practices ensuring that data is accurateconsistent

and compliant with regulatoryrequirements.

Contribute to theestablishment of data quality metrics and KPIs.

Quality Assurance:



Collaboration:

Collaborateclosely with data engineers business analysts project managers andother

stakeholders to ensure a seamless ETLtesting process.

Participate incrossfunctional meetings providing insights into testing progressand

Stay uptodate with industry trends andadvancements in ETL testing methodologies tools

Identify opportunities for process improvements andimplement best practices.

Requirements andskills

Bachelors degree incomputer science Information Technology or a relatedfield.
Proven experience (10 years) in ETL testing witha strong understanding of data integration concepts andmethodologies.
Previous experience in a leadership ormanagement role overseeing a team of testers.
Proficiency in ETL testing tools and frameworks.
StrongSQL skills for querying and validating data.
Familiaritywith data warehousing data modeling and data transformationconcepts.
Excellent communication leadership andinterpersonal skills.
Problemsolving mindset and abilityto troubleshoot complex issues.
Experience with testautomation tools and frameworks is a plus.
Relevantcertifications in software testing or data management areadvantageous.
