A concise glimpse into therole As a Junior Quality Engineer at APPSeCONNECTyou will be a part of our Product Engineering team and play a vitalrole in ensuring the quality reliability and functionality of ouriPaaS product. Thisrole is designed for a fresher who is eager to learn and grow inthe quality domain and has the potential to become proficient inboth manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be aquick learner capable of writing code for automation and have astrong aptitude for manual testing. Your time will be invested in Learning andDevelopment Focus Learning and SkillDevelopment:
  • Participate in training andmentorship programs to quickly acquire knowledge and skills insoftware testing.
  • Continuously update yourunderstanding of industry best practices in quality assurance.
CodeDevelopment:
  • Develop simple automation scriptsand contribute to the test automation codebase.
  • Learn programming languages used forautomation such as Python and JavaScript.
Functional and NonFunctionalTesting:
  • Participate in functional usabilitycompatibility security and performance testing activities to ensureproduct quality.
  • Assist in the management oftest data and ensure its relevance and accuracy for testingpurposes.

Documentation:
  • Maintaintest documentation including test plans test cases and testreports.
  • Contribute to the creation of testplans and test cases for various testing scenarios.
ProblemSolving:
  • Develop problemsolving skills andattention to detail in identifying and resolving issues.
TestingExecution and CollaborationManualTesting:
  • Collaborate with senior qualityengineers to execute manual test cases and identify defects.
  • Contribute to the execution of regression testsuites to ensure product stability during development cycles.
AutomationTesting:
  • Learn and develop automated testscripts with guidance to support test automation efforts.
  • Work with automation testing tools andframeworks to enhance testing efficiency.
Bug Tracking andReporting:
  • Assist in identifying anddocumenting defects and collaborate with the team to report andmanage issues.
RegressionTesting:
  • Contribute to the execution ofregression test suites to ensure product stability duringdevelopment cycles.
TeamCollaboration:
  • Work closely with the qualityengineering team to learn from experienced members and supportproject goals.
What we want you to have
  • Bachelors degree in computerscience Information Technology or a related field.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop skills insoftware testing and quality assurance.
  • Basicunderstanding of programming concepts and willingness to learncoding for automation testing.
  • Good analyticaland problemsolving skills.
  • Strongcommunication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • High IQ and the ability to work effectivelyas a manual testing team member.
What is a plus to have
  • Relevantcertifications or coursework in software testing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile Framework
