Store Manager

Responsibilities
- Maintain the optimum inventory level of each stock to avoid bothoverstock and shortage.
- Keep a complete anddetailed database of the inventory of any item that can be used inthe company in terms of their quality requirements the frequency ofusage availability in the market in terms of their value which workunit is commonly utilized and in terms of the criticality of theiravailability in affecting the work process.
- Track the store requisitions of variousdepartments and purchaserequisitions.
- Coordinate the inspection ofincoming goods in verifying the quality and quantity against theend user request (PR) and the specifications in the purchase order(PO) before formally receiving.
- Initiate thereplenishment of each regular consumables considering theirconsumption rate safety stock procurement lead time and trends ofthese all into account.
- Take accurate recordsof receipts and issues of inventories and maintain a stock card asa ledger for each which helps as a reference forcounterchecking.
- Conduct a stock checkingperiodically: daily weekly monthly biweekly quarterly semiannuallyannually or in any time interval on a regular and/or irregularbasis. Remove obsolete damaged excess inventories to avoidunnecessary management time and inefficient storage areautilization.
- Keep a full historical record ofprices of inventories and carry out analysis to refer forcomparison of future purchasetransactions.
- Coordinate with other work unitsor staff of the company for its betterment and continuousimprovement.
- Ensure safety rules are followedin the plant.
- Prepare reports for PurchaseInspection Dead Stock etc.
