Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled BI Developer to design and maintain BI solutions using Power BI and Cognos. You will create interactive dashboards and reports that turn data into actionable insights, working directly with clients to provide technical support, consultation, and solutions. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

BI Solution Development : Design, develop, and publish interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and Cognos to provide valuable insights. Data Analysis : Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights. Technical Implementation : Utilize DAX, Power Query, and advanced visualizations to enhance storytelling and data presentation. Business Requirements : Identify and gather business requirements, converting them into technical solutions and establishing project timelines. Data Management : Engage in quantitative analysis, data modeling, reporting, and manage data warehousing and database architecture. Client Engagement : Work directly with clients to provide architecture design, configuration, support, and consultation services. Problem-Solving : Apply strong business understanding and problem-solving abilities to address client needs and improve BI solutions. Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest BI trends and technologies, including Azure and Agile Development methodologies, to continuously improve processes and deliverables .

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience : 3-5 years in BI development with extensive experience in prototyping, designing, and developing Power BI reports. · Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and visualization techniques.Experience with Cognos is desirable.Familiarity with AWS platform is a plus.Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies is advantageous. · Analytical Skills :Proven experience in quantitative analysis, data modeling, reporting, and data warehousing. · Client Interaction : Effective communication skills with experience in a client-facing role, capable of translating business needs into technical solutions. · Education : Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
