Role:  Python Developer

Location:  Gurgaon

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst/Developer with expertise in Python, GitHub, and Tableau.  The primary focus of this role is on maintaining and modifying existing systems, data and codebases, dashboards, and data pipelines maintenance and development.  Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and version control, coupled with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills. A typical workday will involve working with stakeholders in individual contributor. A suitable candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in a similar role and should possess a go -getter attitude. He/ She should be able to deal with ambiguity.  Experience in insurance preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities & Skillsets:

Key Responsibilities:Maintain Existing Systems: Ensure the smooth operation of current data systems, dashboards, and analytics platforms.Modify and Update: Implement necessary modifications to existing scripts, dashboards, and reports based on new requirements or identified issues.Data Quality Assurance: Regularly check data for accuracy and completeness and correct any inconsistencies or errors.Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and adjust data tools and visualizations.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of changes made to systems and codebases to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.Support: Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to users of data systems and dashboards.

Required Skills 

Proficiency in Python: Strong knowledge of Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis. Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib is essential. Version Control with GitHub: Solid experience in using GitHub for version control, including branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution. Tableau Expertise: Advanced skills in Tableau for creating and modifying interactive dashboards. Ability to optimize performance and enhance user experience. Good knowledge of data base management like SQL, Good to have- PySpark, pandas and API (Django, Flask, FAST API) understanding. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Excellent communication & presentation skills Understanding of container services like Docker, Kubernetes - Optional Good to have understanding of code deployment strategies. Data Pipeline: Ability to understand the data flow and can come up with the best data pipeline solutionShould have good grasp on AWS services like EC2, S3, EMR and ECSStrong ability to translate functional specifications / requirements to technical requirements

Candidate Profile:  

Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply Strong and in-depth understanding of Python Application development Fundamentals Data Pipelining Experience Superior analytical and problem solving skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
