About this opportunity

Project Finance SME-Compliance within PFA Compliance Office will work with overall regulatory and compliance environment concerning Order to Invoice process, related SOX and internal control framework, and actively support compliance quality, efficiency, and improvements initiatives for the team and Global project finance organization as applicable.

What will you do:

Drive understanding of business processes and control activities within Project finance/Customer Contract Accounting. Support internal control framework and compliance to IFRS 15 reporting regulation, including the Five-step model and its impact on processes, revenue recognition compliance requirements, and testing. Support design, implementation, and onboarding of Key Control activities within PFA compliance office, proactively following up and reporting on compliance focus areas, implementation progress, issues, and actions. Drive standardization of SOX procedures and documentation across Market areas. Provide advice/feedback on SOX ratings and follow-up actions/remediation, analyzing and driving disciplined approaches and improvements to enhance the effectiveness of controls and underlying processes. Understand Audit framework/requirements and effectively coordinate internal and external audits with walkthroughs, standard workpapers, and explanations. Drive Market area walkthroughs regarding process changes and new control activities. Raise awareness to remediate process gaps/SOX compliance issues. Foster close collaboration with project finance accounting and controlling areas, PFA SMEs, and group SOX & Internal Control function. Advise on compliance aspects concerning new tool implementations. Display deep understanding and remain updated with changes related to customer contract accounting, reporting, and control requirements, supporting impact analysis and changes to the existing scope. Drive ongoing learning and development and secure needed competence in PFA Compliance Office in existing and future areas. Monitor and report activities on control performance/compliance risks. Drive relevant ABC (Anti-Bribery & Corruption) controls, understanding and identification of red flags, follow-up actions, and reporting.
 

What you will bring:

Postgraduate in Accounting/Finance or Qualified Chartered Accountant with deep understanding/experience in contract accounting, IFRS 15, SOX, and internal control environment in audit or process dimensions. Experience working in a global setup, building relationships, and networking in multi-geography/cultural virtual work groups will be a definite edge. Good understanding of Ericsson business processes and financial models.
