What You'll Do: 
As a Senior Manager - Channel Optimization, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our channel partners within LZAM (Lubrizol Advanced Materials), including distributors and sales agents. This role will involve developing a governance framework, implementing scorecards, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards, and maintaining consistent application of commercial terms and conditions. 

 

What We're Looking For (Responsibilities / Accountabilities):  

•    Develop a governance framework to optimize the portfolio of agents and distributors within LZAM.
•    Create and implement scorecards to manage the performance of distributors and sales agents, aligning them with growth expectations.
•    Ensure compliance with Lubrizol's ethical and legal standards among distributors and sales agents.
•    Maintain consistent application of commercial terms and conditions in contracts with channel partners.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams across commercial, operations, R&D, supply chain, etc. to drive channel optimization initiatives.
•    Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to align channel optimization strategies with business objectives.
•    Manage external communication and relationships with channel partners, holding them accountable and fostering value-driven partnerships.
•    Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to channel optimization.
•    Provide leadership and guidance to global commercial team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

 

Skills That Make a Difference:
•    Minimum 15 years of experience in a multinational business environment.
•    Commercial experience in the chemical industry preferred.
•    Experience in managing distributors strongly desired.
•    Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or technical field required. Advanced degree preferred.
•    Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
•    Commercial savvy and value-selling ability.
•    Ability to hold external partners accountable and drive performance.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
