Job Summary:
As a MicrosoftDynamics UI/UX Developer you will be responsible for designingdeveloping and optimizing user interfaces and experiences forMicrosoft Dynamics 365 applications. You will work closely withbusiness analysts developers and endusers to ensure that thesolutions are not only functional but also visually appealing andeasy to use.
Key Responsibilities:
UI/UX Designand Development:
Design and implement intuitive userinterfaces for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications (e.g. SalesCustomer Service Marketing etc.) ensuring a seamless userexperience.
Develop and customize Dynamics 365 formsviews dashboards and portals to meet business requirements andimprove user interactions.
Use Power Apps to createlowcode or nocode applications that extend the functionality ofDynamics 365 while delivering a modern and responsive userinterface.
Implement usercentric design principles toensure that solutions are accessible easy to navigate and visuallyappealing across different devices and platforms.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Workclosely with business analysts developers and stakeholders togather user requirements and translate them into design solutionsthat meet business objectives.
Conduct user researchinterviews and usability testing to gain insights into user needsand preferences.
Collaborate with solution architectsand developers to ensure that the designs are technically feasibleand align with the overall system architecture.
Presentdesign ideas wireframes and prototypes to stakeholders andincorporate feedback to improve the final solution.
FrontEnd Development:
Implement responsive webdesign techniques to ensure that Microsoft Dynamics 365applications are optimized for different screen sizes and devices.
Develop custom frontend components using HTML CSSJavaScript and other web technologies that integrate seamlesslywith Dynamics 365.
Leverage Power Platform tools likePower Automate Power Apps and Power BI to enhance the functionalityand visual appeal of the user interface.
Create andcustomize themes page layouts and navigation elements to deliver aconsistent look and feel across the Dynamics 365 environment.
User Testing and Optimization:
Performusability testing and gather feedback from endusers to identifyareas of improvement and optimization.
Continuouslymonitor the performance of the user interface making adjustments toimprove load times responsiveness and overall user satisfaction.
Implement accessibility best practices to ensure thatthe applications are compliant with accessibility standards (e.g.WCAG) and are usable by a wide range of users.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degreein Computer Science Web Development Graphic Design or a relatedfield.
Experience:
o 4 years of experiencedesigning and developing user interfaces for Microsoft Dynamics 365applications or other enterprise systems.
o Experiencewith UI/UX tools such as Figma Sketch Adobe XD or Axure forwireframing and prototyping.
o Proven experience withHTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and frontend frameworks such as React Angularor Vue.js.
Skills and Competencies:
TechnicalSkills:
o Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365customization configuration and theming capabilities.
oProficiency in frontend web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) andresponsive design principles.
o Experience withlowcode/nocode platforms like Power Apps to create custom userinterfaces.
o Knowledge of web accessibility standards(WCAG) and responsive design for mobile and desktop environments.
o Familiarity with integrating frontend components withAPIs and backend systems including Dynamics 365 APIs.
UI/UX Design Skills:
o Excellent skills in user interface(UI) and user experience (UX) design with a strong portfolioshowcasing past work.
o Ability to create wireframesprototypes and mockups based on user requirements and businessobjectives.
o Strong understanding of usercentered designprinciples usability and humancomputer interaction (HCI).
ProblemSolving and Creativity:
o Strongproblemsolving skills with the ability to design solutions thatimprove usability while maintaining functionality.
oCreative thinker with a keen eye for design aesthetics color theoryand typography.
Communication and Collaboration:
o Strong communication skills with the ability to presentdesign concepts and articulate design rationale to technical andnontechnical stakeholders.
o Ability to collaborateeffectively with crossfunctional teams including developersanalysts and business stakeholders.
PreferredQualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365Fundamentals or other relevant certifications.
Experience with Dynamics 365 Portals or Power Pages for developingcustomerfacing web applications.
Familiarity with Agilemethodologies and tools like Jira Azure DevOps or Trello formanaging design and development tasks.
