RoleOverview:

Youwill be working for a MSP maintaining about 10 Customers. 50% ofyour work will be Server Hardening and Upgrades. The other 50% willgo towartds Project work as well as Troubleshooting/Ticketing. Mostof them are in a Hybrid Configuration. The Focus will be on theOnPrem Part.

There willbe an onboarding phase for about 2 Weekseach day 3 hours. Then we will upscale to46 hours daily and later 8 hoursregularly. Working hours will be during USA Timezone while thecustomer is not from USA means it is mostlya nonenglish environment. Google Translateis your friend.

Thisrole is only for real experts and a deep technical interview willbe conducted not only before the job starts but also during theonboarding phaseetc.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Configuremanage and maintain Microsoft Exchange servers and associatedinfrastructure. (Upgrades Patching HardeningTroubleshooting)
  • Troubleshoot and resolveExchange server issues including mail flow database andconnectivity problems with Clients
  • Provenexperience with Edge Servers and EMail Security Gateways like EOPProofpoint OPEN Mission Control andothers
  • Proven experience in email encryptionand decryption tools/services like OME Proofpoint Totemo(kiteworks) SEPPMail and HIN
  • PowerShellscripting for automation and task automation within Exchange OnPremand O365.
  • Create and maintain documentation andprocedures for Exchange server configurations and troubleshootingsteps.

Requirements:

  • Provenexperience (5 years) as a Microsoft Exchange Server () OnPremAdministrator or in a similar role.
  • Strongunderstanding of communication protocols like SMTP POP3 andIMAP
  • Experience with Exchange migrationsupgrades and patch management as well as ServerHardening
  • Excellent problemsolving skills andability to communicate technical conceptseffectively.
