National Sales Manager

As the National Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategy and expanding our market presence across India. You will lead a team of regional sales managers and sales representatives, providing strategic guidance, setting targets, and ensuring the achievement of sales goals. Your extensive experience in the paints industry will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives, including market analysis, customer segmentation, and product positioning.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of regional sales managers and sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to drive individual and team excellence.
- Market Expansion: Identify and explore new markets and business opportunities to expand the company's footprint and gain a competitive edge in the paints industry.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Target Achievement: Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and budgets to ensure the consistent achievement of revenue and sales growth goals.
- Product Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and pricing strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales experience in the paints industry, with a proven track record of success.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Deep understanding of the Indian paints market and industry dynamics.
Willingness to travel extensively.
