Overview:Weare seeking an experienced Manager in Compensation and Benefits tojoin our clients team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have astrong background in HR operations compliance and payrollmanagement with at least 5 years of experience. This is anindividual contributor role reporting to the HRDirector.

Responsibilities:
  • PayrollManagement:
  • Calculate employeespay based on days worked deductions taxes andbenefits.
  • Maintain accurate records of allpayroll transactions.
  • Ensure timely payment ofall payrollrelated taxes.
  • Handle payrollprocessing for the entire hiretoretirecycle.
  • Labor Laws &Compliance:
  • Ensure compliancewith all applicable labor laws andregulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in laborlaws and implement necessaryadjustments.
  • HROperations:
  • Oversee endtoend HRoperations including payroll benefits administration and employeerecords management.
  • Serve as the first point ofcontact for employee inquiries regarding salary benefits andtaxes.
  • HRPolicies:
  • Develop and implementHR policies and procedures in line with company goals andregulatory requirements.
  • BenefitsAdministration:
  • Manage employeebenefits such as health insurance retirement plans and groupgratuity scheme.
  • Administer employee insuranceincluding GPA GTL andMediclaim.
  • TaxCompliance:
  • Ensure compliancewith income tax regulations.
  • File quarterly andannual TDS returns and handle issuance of Form16.
  • Reporting:
  • Generatereports related to payroll expenses taxes and other relevant datato facilitatedecisionmaking.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum5 years of experience in endtoend payrollactivities.
  • Experience managing payrollprocessing for at least 300 permanentemployees.
  • Strong understanding and practicalapplication of income tax maternity act labor laws group gratuityscheme and new pension scheme.
  • Familiarity withemployee insurance processes.
  • MBA from Tier 1institutes or equivalent experience in a reputableorganization.
  • Experience in a product/servicescompany preferred.
