JobSummary:

TheHR Associate manages the entire employee lifecycle includingrecruitment employee relations compliance and performancemanagement. The role involves developing and implementing HRpolicies and programs to support the organizations objectives whileensuring compliance with labor regulations. The HR Associate willwork closely with leadership and department heads to align HRstrategies with businessgoals.

KeyResponsibilities:
  1. Recruitment& TalentAcquisition:

  • Manageendtoend recruitment processes including job postings candidatescreening interviews andonboarding.

  • Collaboratewith department heads to understand staffing needs and develop jobdescriptions.

  • Buildrelationships with recruitment agencies job portals and educationalinstitutions.

  • Workwith Recruiters in North American Regions and hire the rightcandidates.

EmployeeRelations:

  • Addressemployee grievances and resolve conflicts fairly andconsistently.

  • Promotepositive workplace culture and improve employee engagement andmorale.

  • Conductexit interviews to understand employee turnover and providefeedback tomanagement.

  • Buildand maintain good relationships with employees working in NorthAmericanregions.

Compliance& LaborLaw:

  • Ensurecompliance with Indian labor laws and other statutoryrequirements.

  • Keepuptodate with changes in labor regulations and ensure timelyimplementation of any new legalrequirements.

  • Workwith external legal consultants regarding labor laws andregulations.

PerformanceManagement:

  • Overseethe performance appraisal process ensuring timely feedback and goalsetting.

  • Developand implement performance improvement plans wherenecessary.

  • Workwith managers to identify training and developmentneeds.



  1. HRPolicies &Procedures:

  • Developand update HR policies ensuring alignment with organizational goalsand compliance withlaws.

  • Communicateand implement HR policies across theorganization.

  • Maintainemployee records and manage HRdocumentation.

Training&Development:

  • Identifyemployee training needs and coordinate relevant trainingprograms.


Qualifications:
  • Education:Bachelor s or Master s in Human Resources Business Administrationor relatedfield.

  • Experience:3 years of experience in HR roles with at least two years in amanagerialposition.

  • Knowledge:Indepth knowledge of Indian labor laws HR best practices andemployee management systems(HRIS).

  • Skills:

    • Excellentcommunication and interpersonalskills.

    • Excellentverbal and written communication skills inEnglish.

    • Strongproblemsolving and conflictresolutionabilities.

    • Organizationaland timemanagementskills.

    • Abilityto work effectively with diverseteams.

    • Proficientin Google Workspace and HR management software preferably ZohoRecruit & People.


Location:Remote from KochiKerala.

WorkHours: 6:30 PM 10:30 PM IST Monday throughFriday

  1. Education:

    • Bachelors or Master s degree in Human Resources Business Administration ora relatedfield.
  2. Experience:

    • Minimumof 3 years of experience in HRroles.
    • At least 2 years ofexperience in a managerial or supervisory HRcapacity.
    • Experience managing HRprocesses across multiple regions particularly North America andIndia.
  3. Knowledge:

    • Comprehensiveunderstanding of Indian labor laws and statutoryrequirements.
    • Familiarity with HRbest practices employee relations and talentmanagement.
    • Experience with HRinformation systems (HRIS) preferably Zoho Recruit &People.
    • Awareness of North Americanlabor practices and recruitment strategies is aplus.
  4. Skills:

    • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills inEnglish.
    • ProblemSolving:Strong ability to resolve conflicts and handle employee grievanceseffectively.
    • Interpersonal:Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships withemployees andleadership.
    • Organizational:Exceptional organizational time management and multitaskingabilities.
    • TechSavvy: Proficiency in Google Workspace and HR managementtools (especially Zoho Recruit &People).
  5. ComplianceKnowledge:

    • Uptodateknowledge of Indian labor laws and experience implementing legalrequirements.
    • Experience workingwith external legal consultants on labor law matters isdesirable.
  6. PerformanceManagement:

    • Demonstratedexperience in managing performance reviews developing improvementplans and identifying trainingneeds.
  7. CulturalFit:

    • Ability topromote a positive and inclusive workplaceculture.
    • Experience working in ormanaging teams across diverse geographical locations especiallyNorth America andIndia.
  8. Availability:

    • Abilityto work remotely during the required work hours: 6:30 PM 10:30 PMIST Monday throughFriday.
  9. Location:

    • Mustbe based in or able to work remotely from KochiKerala.
  10. AdditionalConsiderations:

    • Previousexperience working with recruitment agencies educationalinstitutions and job portals is aplus.
    • Experience in remote workenvironments and managing geographically dispersed teams isadvantageous.
