Roles Review: the JrSolar Consultant is responsible for supporting the sales andconsulting process by managing daily tasks engaging with potentialcustomers and ensuring smooth communication throughout the salesfunnel. This role involves consistent coordination with the seniorsales team and customers using our CRM system for tracking andreporting. The ideal candidate should be organised proactive andprocess strong communicationskills.

KeyResponsibilities:

1. Clientconsultation:

Initial interaction: Introducesolar energy benefits to potential clients over thephone.

Needs assessment: Identify client energyrequirements and expectations during the call.

Information sharing: Provide detailed explanations about solarsolutions including environmental and financial benefits.

Client queries: address client questions and concernsaccurately and promptly.

2. Siteassessments:

Preliminary evaluation: Conduct onsite visits to evaluate roof and property conditions.

Data collection: gather energy uses data and access sitefeasibility for solar installation.

Sitesuitability: document and report on the sites potential for solarpanel installation

3. Proposaldevelopment:

Custom proposal creation: assistin developing personalised solar system proposals.

Presentation: Clearly explain proposal details to clientsincluding costs savings and potential ROI.

Feedback integration: Work with senior consultants to refineproposals based on client feedback.

4. Salessupport:

Lead follow up: Contact leads frommarketing campaigns and other sources to gauge interest.

Appointment scheduling: Book appointments for siteassessments and detailed consultations

Clientrelationship management: Maintain regular communication withclients to build trust and encourage referrals.

Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule site visits client meetings andfollow up calls.

5. Market research:

Industry trends: keep up to date with the latest trendsin solar energy and renewable technologies

Competitor analysis: Monitor competitor offerings to ensurecompetitive pricing and service.

Regulatoryknowledge: Stay informed about local solar regulations andincentives.

6. Documentation andreporting:

Record keeping: Maintain accuraterecords of all client interactions proposals andcontracts.

Report generation: create weekly andmonthly sales activity reports including client feedback and marketanalysis.

7. Training and development:

Skill enhancement: participate in trainingsessions on solar technology sales strategies and customerservice.

Mentorship: Seek feedback from seniorconsultants to continuously improve performance.

8. Additional responsibilities:

Travel: Be prepared for local travel to client sites andmeetings.

Communication: Maintain professionalcommunication with clients team members and stakeholders.

Qualification:

Strong organisationand communicationskills.

Proficiency in CRMsoftware and MS officesuite.

Experience or astrong interest in the solar energy industry ispreferred.

Knowledge ofrenewable energy systems and salesprocesses.

Ability to workindependently at collaboratively within ateam.

Bachelors degree inEngineering Business renewable energy or a relatedfield.
