JobSummary:

Duties as aBMS Software Engineer include designing developing and releasingBattery Management System (BMS) software and controls applicationsfor 48V and highvoltage lithiumion battery systems. You must beknowledgeable in the development of software and controls batteryalgorithms functional safety and CAN communications in addition tostandard development tools.


Roles andResponsibilities:


  • Constructing theBMSs entire software design and system topology to provide precisebattery pack monitoring control and protection.
  • Guarantee consistent cell performance and extend the lifeof the battery pack algorithms for monitoring the voltagetemperature and state of charge (SOC) of individual battery cellsare designed and put into practice. Cell balancing techniques arealso employed.
  • Creating algorithms toprecisely determine the batterys remaining energy (SOE) state ofcharge (SOC) and state of health (SOH). This entails puttingbattery models into practice and taking internal resistance voltagesag and battery aging into account.
  • Creatingcommunication interfaces to connect the charging infrastructure andvehicle control unit (VCU) to the BMS. This comprises data exchangeprotocols such as CAN bus.
  • Carrying outcomprehensive testing and validation of the BMS design includingfunctional testing performance testing and safety testing to ensurereliable operation and compliance with industrystandards.
