Automotive consulting practice. We are a team of advisoryconsultants & product managers working for global

Automotive clients to create significantbusiness value. The team leverages their technology savviness

functional expertise to lead and executedigital transformation initiatives.

We are looking for a seasoned Manufacturing Consultantwith a strong background in shop floor operations

and handson experience with Manufacturing OperationsManagement (MoM) systems including MES

CMMS andQMS. Experience in project and program management is highlydesirable.

Key Responsibilities

Subject Matter Expertise:

Offerexpert advice on manufacturing processes and shop floor activities

Implement and enhance MoM systems such as MES(Manufacturing Execution Systems) CMMS

(Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and QMS(Quality Management Systems)

Evaluate andrefine manufacturing workflows to boost efficiency and productivity

Work closely with crossfunctional teams toensure smooth integration of MoM systems

Leadand oversee projects/programs aimed at continuous improvement

Train and guide shop floor staff on bestpractices and system utilization

Create andmaintain documentation related to manufacturing processes andsystems

Consulting engagements:

Execute digital transformation engagements

oExecute transformations in agile mode owning &maintaining backlog

oDrive requirementsprioritization

oDrive technology UX &ML teams to achieve deliverables in each sprint

oWork with partners to enable & achieve sprintdeliverables

Ensure successful delivery ofadvisory engagements

Enhance & improveclient engagement through Industry/functional expertise ofAutomotive domain

Problem Solving and SolutionBuilding:

Develop deep insights into Clientissues based on past subject matter expertise.

Bring intellectual leadership to solve client challenges

Develop recommendations and drive team effort towardsadvanced digital solutions in the Automotive

domain

Understand industry trends andprovide thought leadership

Leadership &Practice Development:

Interact & workwith senior client leaders enable digital transformations

Generate pull through for IT services businessfrom consulting engagements

Leverage Cognizantcapabilities & solution offerings for sales and execution

Generate proactive proposals to address clientissues

Guide teams on proposal &presentation creation and positioning

Leadpractice operations in terms of revenue profitability and worktowards achievement of goals

Maintainprofitability targets for the Consulting assignments

ProfessionalQualifications and Skills

7 to 10 years ofprofessional experience

Bachelor’sdegree required; MBA preferred

Extensiveexperience in shop floor operations within a manufacturing setting.

Proficiency with MoM systems (MES CMMS QMS).

Strong analytical and problemsolvingabilities.

Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.

Exposure to AutomotiveIndustry through core experience or through digital productdelivery for

automotive clients is preferred

Experience in agile methodology

Business analysis and requirements gathering

Project/Program Management experience is a plus
