We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Client Service Manager II to join our Client Processing - CT Operations team. This role is located in Pune, MH – HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Manages a medium to large-sized team or multiple small Client Processing teams. Handles any/all aspects of client accounts, including solicitation, inquiries, transactional processing and problem resolution.
  • Manages the daily transactional workflow within the team and aligns team resources accordingly to complete the daily tasks through other managers or professionals.
  • Oversees Client Processing to ensure transactions are handled correctly and timely. Utilizes MIS reporting to ensure correct and timely processing.
  • Ensures the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards and is properly reviewed and documented.
  • Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional development and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
  • Provides input into departmental budgets and planning.  May develop business plan for team/group operations.
  • Manages a Client Processing team. 
  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.  
  • Responsible for secondary review and signoff.
  • Meet deliverables to ensure consistent green KRIs.
  • Working co-operatively and inclusively in a team environment to achieve shared objectives.
  • Providing clients with high quality operational support.
  • Ensuring that good client/stakeholder relations are maintained, and inquiries are researched and resolved efficiently.
  • Navigating internal resources to resolve moderately complex internal/external client’s day-to-day issues.
  • Monitoring client inquiries, resolving non-routine issues and escalating complex/risk issues to the appropriate leader, as and when needed.
  • Participating in internal activities and initiatives designed to identify process improvements to enhance the external client experience.
  • Documentation of any client communication. 
  • Good communication skills to deliver high quality service to external clients.
  • Applying problem-solving skills, experience and judgement to analyze information.
  • Preparedness to take on back-up functions.
     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • A minimum bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education is required.
  • Minimum 10+ years of prior experience in operations (Corporate Trust, Client facing, Derivatives functions, brokerage processing is preferred).
     
  • Skill Requirements:
    • Knowledge of Fixed-Income Securities markets, Money market, Derivatives and Capital Market.
    • Knowledge of the Custody Life Cycle.
    • Strong in reviewing client governing documents and interpreting the same. 
       
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
       
  • Client Communication:
    • Strong oral and written, fluency in English language is a must. 
    • Problem-solving orientation.
    • Client-focused. 
    • Efficient.
    • Proactive.
    • De-escalating (as required).
