We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Manager, Technology Control, Wholesale.
In this role, you will:
Act as trusted advisor for senior management within remit area on how to accurately manage their operational risk risk assessments, control environment, issues management; Promote accountable risk and control decision-making based on quality data and commercial analysis, actively challenging poor, inefficient or excessive controls, related tasks and behaviours; Provide specialist risk and control knowledge and insights, leading efforts to continuously improve the control environment and monitoring of risk, including behaviours; Identify trends to anticipate future developments in the risk and control environment; Influence and shape the development and implementation of future-fit risk management and regulatory frameworks; Provide Senior Management with updates on any relevant changes to policy or projects related to operational risk that have an impact on their area of responsibility. RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Strong tech knowledge architecture, platforms, Technology & Cyber Security controls Strong Understanding and experience around Risk Management Framework Proven experience in a risk/audit or control related role; Payments and/ or Commercial Banking experience/exposure; Proven track record of increasing business performance developing, aligning and translating strategies & plans to achieve business and functional goals; Ability to work independently with limited supervision; Ability to present complex issues expertly and concisely to senior partners using non-technical language; Flexible and adaptable, able to handle and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to influence and challenge stakeholders A good degree of knowledge covering Agile, Devops, Business Transformation Framework, Project Management and System Design Previous experience of identifying, defining and solving problems that impact on your work or the wider business. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills. A good understanding of the products used in this business area; Certifications such as CISA, PRIMIA, CISM etc is desirable.-
