Job Description:

Role : Scientific Communications Specialist

Level : T1

Location : Mumbai

Job Responsibilities

You’ll collaborate with Royal Canin marketing by providing scientific support to launch new products and promote growth of existing products in your functional category. 

You will build on-going expertise through targeted KOL and veterinary group relationships. 

You will collaborate with in-field and national accounts Royal Canin associates to have up-to-date market information and business needs leading to strong category business acumen 

You’ll update scientific information in existing materials, documents and related materials as needed.

Develop the local Scientific Communication strategy

Develop/adapt all scientific communication materials and training modules for the local market

Develop and present technical/product/nutritional presentations to key internal and external stakeholders to disseminate information regarding Royal Canin, products and Health Thru nutrition

Provide technical/product support to key areas of the business including Consumer Care, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing/Sales/Digital teams

You will collaborate with stakeholders and Royal Canin research and global entities 

You’ll collect and manage scientific information related to your category including research papers, competitor information, market data, visual resources and similar. 

You’ll support other teams with nutritional case consultations when needed. 

You’ll take part in virtual and offline trainings and other educational events, support development and management of Royal Canin Academy & University 

Job Specifications /Qualifications

Note: May differ from the current job holder’s own skills and experience .

1. Education & Professional Qualification

Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or Equivalent)

In clinic experience (preferably 3-5 years) as practitioner

Veterinary Industry Experience desirable

2. Knowledge/Experience

Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)

Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Ability to work alone without close supervision but also able to function well as a team player

Veterinary/Scientific knowledge important

Evidence of external veterinary and scientific networks desirable
