Role Overview:

As a Vertical Lead at SquadStack, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a vertical comprising Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Ecommerce, and Health. You will be responsible for driving revenue and profitability, overseeing a team of business managers and delivery leads, and ensuring the vertical's overall success. Your role will involve strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, process optimization, and industry-specific innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Communication:

  • Define and execute the strategic direction for the vertical.
  • Develop and communicate a clear roadmap for achieving business goals.
  • Conduct A/B testing and drive product thinking to optimize strategies.
  • Create persuasive presentations and written communications to articulate the vertical's vision and impact.
  • Establish and maintain thought leadership in the industry.

2. Operations and Profitability:

  • Manage & Drive 50-100 Cr annual revenue and profitability
  • Collaborate with the operations and sales team to optimize processes and improve net margins.
  • Roll up your sleeves and actively engage in strategy execution, leading by example.
  • Innovate and develop industry-leading solutions based on best practices and data-driven insights.
  • Build and manage a team of industry-specific experts to drive success.

3. Process Excellence:

  • Ensure process excellence across the vertical, overseeing a team of approximately 50 professionals.
  • Continuously optimize processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead initiatives that demonstrate creativity under constraints.

4. Entrepreneurial Spirit:

  • Thrive in a startup environment, demonstrating a willingness to take calculated risks and adapt to evolving market conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to Squadstack's overall success.
Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience in leading and managing verticals within the relevant industries (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Ecommerce, Health).
  • Strong background in data-driven decision-making and consulting.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue and profitability.
  • Expertise in strategy development and execution.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Hands-on experience in process optimization.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams.
