We are seeking an experiencedCost Controller and Inventory Manager for our client in HospitalityIndustry. This position involves overseeing the inventorymonitoring costs and implementing strategies to enhance overallefficiency and profitability.

KeyResponsibilities

DailyOperations:

  • Visit the restaurant dailyconduct regular checks and maintain an online inventory of food& beverage and operational stock.
  • Enterpurchase details into internal databases.

Coordination andCommunication:

  • Coordinate with storein charge for stock and supplies ensuring smooth restaurantoperations.
  • Conduct weekly meetings withrelevant stakeholders for transparency and cost control

Purchasing and VendorManagement:

  • Implement sound purchasingpolicies systems and procedures.
  • Monitorvendors for quality service and pricing; obtain competitivequotations.
  • Evaluate suppliers offers andnegotiate profitable deals.

InventoryManagement:

  • Conduct regular inventoryaudits to determine levels and needs.
  • Investigate and address any discrepancies ininventory records.
  • Generate weekly quarterlyand monthly inventory reports.

RecordKeeping:

  • Maintain clear and organizedrecords for reports files and invoices.
  • Crosscheck requisitions related to purchasesand ensure reconciliation upon stock receipt.

QualityControl:

  • Oversee quality standards andexpiry of materials received.
  • Control wastagedamages and pilferage in food and beverage outlets.

ProcessOptimization:

  • Troubleshoot vendordelivery issues and oversee return processes.
  • Identify and report slowmoving items to avoidoverpurchasing.
  • Verify supply quotations toensure goods received align with agreements.

TeamCollaboration:

  • Be a team playercoordinating with various departments for seamless inventorymanagement.
  • Ensure store requisitions aresigned and processed promptly.

CostControl:

  • Track all costs associatedwith restaurant operations ensuring alignment with budgetconstraints.
  • Analyze differences betweenactual and budgeted costs proposing corrective actions.
  • Prepare regular costrelated reports forinformed decisionmaking.

Adherenceto Policies:

  • Implement measures toavoid stock damages theft and wastage.
  • Ensureall materials issued have requisition or approval from therespective department head.

ContinuousImprovement:

  • Identify opportunitiesfor process improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Stay updated with market trends and sources ofsupply.

Adaptability:

  • Performany other related duties as assigned by management showcasingflexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Bachelorsdegree in Business Finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management andcost control within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics.
  • Analytical skills for demand forecasting.
  • Familiarity with inventory management softwareMS excel
  • Strong organizational andmultitasking abilities.
  • ExcellentCommunication skills to coordinate with different teams.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
