About the Role

We at Innovaccer are looking for a Database Reliability Engineer-I to build the most amazing product experience. You’ll get to work with other engineers to build delightful feature experiences to understand and solve our customer’s pain points

A Day in the Life

Manage databases in a multi-cloud environment with end-to-end automation including administration, observability, troubleshooting, configuration changes, upgrades, and migrationsResponsible for Provisioning, availability 24X7, reliability, performance, Security, maintenance, upgrades, and cost optimizationProficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python.Experience with Mongo and knowledge in any one of the other databases like ElasticSearch , Redis and SnowflakeStrong experience in SQL and PL/SQL or PL/PgSQLMust be an expert in Linux operating systems.Respond to and resolve database-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.Implement and maintain database security policies, roles, and access controls.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection law HIPAA related to data security and privacy.Capacity planning of large-scale database clustersIdentify and tune the long-running queries to improve DB performance

What You Need

Minimum of 2+ years of experience is requiredWork in a fast-paced environment with the agility to change directions as per business needsYou should have hands-on experience with a start-up mentality in managing & troubleshooting large-scale distributed systemsHands-on experience in SQL and Python.Knowledge of anyone cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCPShould be proactive and have the intellect to explore and come up with ideasBachelor’s degree in computer science
