Overview:

This roleinvolves assisting with the remediation of vulnerable code andimplementing security features in software codebases. The candidatewill be expected to work closely with development teams to identifyvulnerabilities in source code and assist with making requiredchanges to mitigate risk. They will also provide handson keyboarddevelopment support for cybersecurity remediation efforts includingthe configuration and maintenance of AWS environments andimplementing features such as security logging. Additionally theywill provide proactive security recommendations to reduce thelikelihood and impact of security events in the client developmentenvironment and source code.

Responsible for assisting with the remediation ofvulnerable code and implementation of security features in softwarecodebases.

Keyresponsibilities will include:

  • Vulnerability Remediation: Workclosely with Java/Mobile Application development teams to identifyvulnerabilities in source code and assist with making requiredchanges to mitigate risk
  • Cybersecurity Development Support:Provide handson keyboard development support to assistwith cybersecurity remediation efforts including the configurationand maintenance of AWS environments and implementing features suchas security logging
  • SecurityRecommendations: Provide proactive securityrecommendations to reduce the likelihood and impact of securityevents in the client development environment and sourcecode
  • Certification in AWS is nice to have butnot required. (i.e. AWS Solutions Architect; AWS SecuritySpecialty.
