Company is an international, knowledge-based group that supplies high technology systems and solutions to customers in the oil and gas industry, the merchant marine, Digital and the defence and aerospace industries.

Designation:- General Sales Manager South Asia (KD)

Department:- Sales & Marketing

Location :- Navi Mumbai

Gender:- Male

Working Days:- Monday to Friday

Experience:-

A sound understanding scientific sonar technology and

uncrewed platforms and its applications.

Experience with participating in tendering processes and

ability to submit complex bids.

Prior sales experience with knowledge of the relevant

commercial, research and governmental markets in the

sub-region

Ability to work in a planned and well-structured way,

following procedures and using CRM as the primary tool

Qualification:- B.E in a relevant technical discipline with minimum of 8+years of relevant work experience

Responsibility:-

Drive profitable sales growth on current and new

customers within the Discovery portfolio and markets.

Support implementation of global strategy, policies,

processes, and campaign initiatives into the sub-region

Lead bid teams to compile technical and commercial

responses to tenders.

Present at conferences, trade shows, demonstrations, and

customer meetings

Represent Discovery towards governmental and trade institutions.

Develop, administer, and support external sales channels in the sub-region.

Ensure active collaboration with other Discovery department teams in the subregion such as aftermarket services, operations, engineering, project management.

Ensure active collaboration with other business areas in the subregion such Maritime, Digital and Defence & Aerospace.

Operate positively and according to Discovery Sales Culture principles in ensuring effective collaboration and teamwork within the South Asia Sales team, the APAC regional team and HQ functions

Travel:-

Extensive travel on short notice within the sub-region and

worldwide

Skills:-

Excellent interpersonal skills

Highly customer focused.

Negotiation/persuasive skills with determination to deliver

results.

Self-driven with positive and collaborative attitude, willing

to contribute and work with a diverse and complex matrix

organization.

Growth mindset and solution oriented
