The Role
Aspen Technology has an immediate need for a Transformation Commercial Office Manager responsible for leading a team who organize, author, and present customer facing responses including budgetary quotes, requests for information, proposals, market assessments, and contracts. In addition, this manager will provide reviews and approvals of our customer contracts and proposals, partnering with our sales team to ensure we adhere to our commercial guidelines, policies and procedures.
Your Impact
Partner closely with your sales partners and team members to manage, organize and assign proposal and contract projects. Train and develop your team to ensure they can define the approach, maintain ownership and accountability for the schedule, align the business position to corporate objectives, ensure quality deliverables, and manage full authorization and approval of the final customer-facing package. Ensure financial details for each proposal/contract follow AspenTech's needs for Banking, Legal, Security, Development, Business/Commercial Terms and Conditions. Prepare and manage customer correspondence and communications. Provide up-to-date information into sales pipeline and forecasting data – accuracy and aligned with proposal solutions as iterations are negotiated. Follow and reference historical pricing and market assessments to support internal pricing reviews. Work with a full range of AspenTech staff to identify and document commercial and technical risk for each proposal. Facilitate the corporate authorization and approval process while maintaining adherence to corporate guidelines and commercial model.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in business or financefrom an accredited university. 7+ years of proposal and contract related experience, including experience in managing complex, large-scale projects of $5 million or more. Business leadership, coaching and mentoring skills - experience in managing and supervising direct reports. Ability to deal with highly technical and complex projects. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills when interacting with both internal teams and customers. Experience with Jira and Microsoft Office suite of products. #LI-RK1-
