KeyResponsibilities
  • VendorManagement: Identify evaluate and maintainrelationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the s andquality for materials andservices.
  • ContractNegotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions withsuppliers to ensure costeffective purchasing arrangements whilemaintaining quality and deliverystandards.
  • InventoryManagement: Monitor and manage inventory levels toensure an adequate supply of materials while minimizing excess andobsolete stock.
  • BudgetManagement: Prepare and manage budgets forpurchasing activities ensuring cost control and efficient use ofresources.
  • ComplianceAssurance: Ensure that all purchasing activitiescomply with company policies legal regulations and industrystandards.
  • QualityAssurance: Conduct quality checks and inspections ofmaterials and supplies to ensure they meet project specificationsand standards.
  • MarketResearch: Conduct market research to stay updated onindustry trends pricing and new suppliers to make informedpurchasingdecisions.
  • Reporting:Generate detailed reports on purchasing activities costs supplierperformance and other relevant metrics for senior managementreview.
  • RiskManagement: Identify potential risks in the supplychain and develop strategies to mitigate them ensuringuninterrupted projectprogress.
  • SoftwareProficiency:MSOffice
  • Maintaining reports for PO workorderssubmission of bills.
  • Check and coordinate withSite for the receiving of thematerial.
Requirements
  • Experience:410 years of experience in purchasing or procurement within thereal estate or constructionindustry.
  • Education:Bachelors degree in B.Tech/B.E. specialization in Civil Engineeringor a relevantfield.
  • Skills:Strong negotiation skills excellent communication abilities and asolid understanding of construction materials and markettrends.
  • WorkEnvironment: Ability to work in a hybrid environmentinvolving both office and construction sitevisits.
PreferredQualification
  • Advancedknowledge of procurement software and ERPsystems
  • Masters degree in Supply ChainManagement or related field

Contract Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize contracts,agreements, and other legal documents related to constructionprojects. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms withclients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure favorable termsand compliance with company policies. Risk Management: Identify andassess potential risks in contract terms and recommend measures tomitigate these risks. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that allcontract terms are adhered to and that all parties fulfill theircontractual obligations. Software Proficiency: Auto-CAD,Revit, SAP2000 Key Requirements Experience: 2-6 years of experienceas a Contracts Engineer in the real estate or constructionindustry.
