Responsibilities
1.
Vendor Management:
•
Negotiate orrenegotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best terms forpricing quality and delivery.
•
Evaluate and manage vendor performance to ensure compliance withcontract terms and company policies.
2.
Contract Evaluation and Compliance:
•
Review contracts to ensure alignment withinternal policies regulatory requirements and industrystandards.
•
Address any contractdiscrepancies or compliance issues promptly andeffectively.
3.
Purchasing and ContractsManagement:
•
Develop and implementrobust purchasing and contract management processes to streamlineoperations and enhance efficiency. Evaluate contracts to ensurecompliance with internal company policies.
•
Establish and maintain transparent purchasingprocedures that ensure accountability and traceability.
4.
Cost Optimization:
•
Identify opportunities for cost savings through strategic sourcingvolume discounts and improved purchasing methods.
•
Continuously analyze purchasing data to findareas for cost reduction and process improvement.
5.
Process Improvement:
•
Continuously evaluate and improve purchasing methods policies andprocedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
•
Stay updated on industry trends and bestpractices to incorporate innovative purchasingstrategies.
6.
Record Keeping andReporting:
•
Maintain accuraterecords of purchases contracts and vendor performance to supporttransparency and informed decisionmaking.
•
Prepare regular reports on purchasingactivities cost savings and supplier performance for managementreview.
7.
Communication andCoordination:
•
Collaborate withinternal departments to understand their purchasing needs andprovide timely procurement support.
•
Communicate effectively with stakeholders toensure alignment and clarity in all purchasingrelatedmatters.
Qualifications:
•
Bachelor's degree in Supply ChainManagement Business Administration or a related field.
•
Minimum 34 years of experience as a PurchaseManager or a similar role.
•
Strongverbal and written communication skills to effectively negotiatewith vendors and collaborate with internal teams.
•
Proven ability to negotiate contracts termsand pricing to achieve favourable outcomes for thecompany.
•
Exposure to solar orrelated domains is a plus (not mandatory).
