Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced BMS Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, installing, and maintaining BMS systems to ensure efficient building operations and energy management.

Responsibilities:

System Design:
Design BMS solutions based on client requirements and project specifications.
Develop detailed system architectures, schematics, and control sequences.

Programming and Configuration:
Program BMS controllers and devices using proprietary and open-source software platforms.
Configure system parameters, setpoints, alarms, and schedules.

Installation and Commissioning:
Install BMS hardware components, including controllers, sensors, actuators, and interfaces.
Conduct system integration and commissioning to ensure proper functionality.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with BMS systems, both onsite and remotely.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs to optimize system performance.

Energy Management:
Implement energy management strategies and optimizations to reduce energy consumption and costs.
Monitor and analyze building energy usage and performance data.

Client Interaction:
Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
Provide training and technical support to clients on BMS system operation and maintenance.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation of BMS system designs, configurations, and installations.
Generate as-built documentation, operation manuals, and user guides for clients.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a BMS Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the building automation industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building management systems, including hardware, software, and networking.
  • Proficiency in BMS programming languages and platforms (e.g., Niagara, Tridium, Siemens).
  • Familiarity with building automation protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus) and communication interfaces.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
