The Position

As an Agile People Leader, you will be responsible for leading the employees operating within one or a few domains within one geography. You will drive and support implementation of strategic long-term cross-organisational people related initiatives e.g. on mental wellbeing or critical competency development. You shall understand the value chain of the company and continuously evolve an organisational Agile mindset. Your primarily tasks will include:

  • Attraction, onboarding and hiring: You will Identify and attract qualified candidates and onboard new employees to the organisation. Evaluate and ensure long term competency mix in the organisation and help build Agile, personal, and professional competencies. In cooperation with other People Leaders, ensure the execution of the people side of the IT strategy and build training plans for individuals and Agile teams. In cooperation with the Release Train Engineers and Scrum Master, ensure long term capacity and capability planning.
  • People/career development: You will help individuals build their long-term career plan (Individual Development Plan). You will ensure vertical / horizontal progression possibilities and provide variety in job offerings, facilitate mentoring/buddy schemes, succession planning, collect performance feedback from stakeholders.
  • Coaching and mentoring: Coach and mentor employees on how to build and apply competences. Motivate, inspire, and support others, manage reward and performance management. Evaluate performance of direct reports and provide feedback.
  • FTE Budgeting: You will own FTE (Full Time Employee) related budget e.g. salary and training, keep people cost updated. Facilitate cross-organisational knowledge sharing. Facilitate groups to help solve organisational challenges Participate in and help drive Communities of Practice across the organisation.
  • Support transformation initiatives: You will support and help the organisation eliminate unnecessary complexity. Coach and mentor employees on leadership competences and applying them in the organisation. You will support the agile transformation.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s or post graduate degree in the field of Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration.
  • Certified SAFe Agilist.
  • 10+ years of IT experience. Must have experience in Agile methodologies.
  • 3+ years leadership experience in similar line of work. Ability to understand the agile roles and responsibilities.
  • Must have knowledge of and experience with regulatory requirements (e.g. GMP, 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Knowledge in LAB Informatics and Quality Control space (LIMS – LABs information management systems) is good to have.
  • Basic understanding on how IT solution is designed/supported on various layers in terms of Development, Infrastructure, support. Understand the ever-evolving needs in IT space and systems in terms automation, upgraded, latest technology supporting infrastructures etc.
  • Thoroughly understands the roles and responsibilities of Scrum Masters, Compliance SMEs , Support analysts , testers, system managers.
  • Ensure a healthy, engaging and inclusive work environment. Build trust and relationships across functions and cultures. Recognise and motivate teams for high performance.
  • Self-managed with a positive outlook, strong personal drive, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills. You must have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures. Above all you have passion for excellence with a concise, precise, and effective approach to problem solving and decision making.

 

About the department

DD&IT Product Supply is a unit responsible for more than 40 global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support and development of these systems. The strategic objective of the unit is to be the IT partner for the business ensuring that we provide the IT solutions and support which is needed to support the Novo Nordisk production solution as well as supply chain needs worldwide. The systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business from R&D to Sales and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. This includes SAP logistics modules like Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management(MM), Advanced planner Optimiser (APO), Plant Maintenance(PM), Quality Management(QM), Production Planning and Process Industry(PPPI), Warehouse Management(WM/EWM), Advanced Track and Trace for pharmaceutical( ATTP), Global Batch Traceability (GBT) modules which are among the most critical IT systems in Novo Nordisk and they are used 24x7 by thousands of NN users worldwide.
