JobDescription:

Asa Cybersecurity Engineer at flydocs you will be responsible fordesigning implementing and managing cybersecurity solutions for ourinhouse SaaS solutions and supporting our clients in the aviationsector. You will work closely with our team of experts to assesssecurity risks deliver strategies and oversee technologies thatsafeguard critical systems anddata.



Requirements

KeyResponsibilities:

SecurityAssessment and RiskManagement:

Workingalongside our Information Security Compliance and InfrastructureSpecialists you will be supporting thefollowing;

Conductcomprehensive cybersecurity assessments for aviation clientsidentifying vulnerabilities and assessing the effectiveness ofexisting securitycontrols.

Supportthe risk management strategies tailored to the unique needs andchallenges of aviation organizations prioritizing securityinitiatives based on riskexposure.

SecurityArchitecture andImplementation:

Designand deploy security architectures for our cloudbased solutions andtheir integrations into various aviation systems including networksapplications and infrastructurecomponents.

Implementsecurity controls and technologies such as firewalls intrusiondetection/prevention systems encryption and multifactorauthentication to protect against cyberthreats.

IncidentResponse andForensics:

Developincident response plans and procedures for aviation clientsoutlining protocols for detecting containing and mitigatingsecurityincidents.

Provideforensic analysis and investigation support in response tocybersecurity incidents documenting findings and recommendingremediationactions.

Complianceand RegulatoryGuidance:

Ensurecompliance with aviation cybersecurity regulations and standardssuch as ISO GDPR and NIST Cybersecurity Framework as well asindustryspecificguidelines.

Assistingthe company in preparing for regulatory audits and assessmentsproviding guidance on best practices and controlsimplementation.

SecurityAwareness andTraining:

Supportingthe Information Security Specialist in thefollowing

Developand deliver cybersecurity awareness training programs for all staffeducating employees and stakeholders on security best practices andpolicies.

Promotea culture of security awareness within client organizationsemphasizing the importance of cybersecurity hygiene and riskmitigation.


Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or relatedfield.

CertifiedInformation Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified EthicalHacker (CEH) or other relevantcertifications.

Provenexperience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on consulting oradvisory services for clients (aviation clients anadvantage).

Strongunderstanding of Infrastructure systems and protocols as well asrelevant cybersecurity standards and regulations. Past workexperience as a system administrator is a hugeadvantage.

Provenimplementation knowledge of security platforms likeCrowdStrike/Sophos especially within the cloud technologies arena(Azure AWSGCP).

Provenunderstanding of both server and endpoint platform tooling likeSIEM/MDR/XDR/MDM

Microsoft365 administration knowledge also anadvantage.

Excellentcommunication and presentation skills with the ability to conveytechnical concepts to nontechnicalaudiences.



Key Responsibilities: Security Assessment and RiskManagement: Working alongside our Information Security, Complianceand Infrastructure Specialists you will be supporting thefollowing; Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments foraviation clients, identifying vulnerabilities and assessing theeffectiveness of existing security controls. Support the riskmanagement strategies tailored to the unique needs and challengesof aviation organizations, prioritizing security initiatives basedon risk exposure. Security Architecture and Implementation: Designand deploy security architectures for our cloud-based solutions andtheir integrations into various aviation systems, includingnetworks, applications, and infrastructure components. Implementsecurity controls and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusiondetection/prevention systems, encryption, and multi-factorauthentication, to protect against cyber threats. Incident Responseand Forensics: Develop incident response plans and procedures foraviation clients, outlining protocols for detecting, containing,and mitigating security incidents. Provide forensic analysis andinvestigation support in response to cybersecurity incidents,documenting findings and recommending remediation actions.Compliance and Regulatory Guidance: Ensure compliance with aviationcybersecurity regulations and standards, such as ISO, GDPR and NISTCybersecurity Framework, as well as industry-specific guidelines.Assisting the company in preparing for regulatory audits andassessments, providing guidance on best practices and controlsimplementation. Security Awareness and Training: Supporting theInformation Security Specialist in the following Develop anddeliver cybersecurity awareness training programs for all staff,educating employees and stakeholders on security best practices andpolicies.
