Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.

 

Job Summary:

As a Level 1 SOC Analyst, you will be on the front lines of our cyber defence operations, monitoring, analysing, and responding to security incidents. You will utilise tools like RocketCyber to detect and mitigate potential threats, ensuring our clients' environments remain secure. This role is based in our Vadodara office, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development within the cyber security field.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor security alerts and incidents using RocketCyber and other security tools.
  • Incident Response: Respond to security incidents promptly, conducting initial analysis and triage to determine the severity and impact.
  • Threat Detection:  Identify and investigate potential security threats, anomalies, and vulnerabilities in real-time.
  • Reporting:  Document incidents and findings accurately, providing detailed reports to higher-level analysts and management.
  • Tool Utilisation : Leverage RocketCyber and other security tools effectively to detect, analyse, and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaboration:  Work closely with other SOC team members to ensure a coordinated and efficient response to incidents.
  • Knowledge Sharing:  Stay updated with the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
  • Compliance:  Ensure all actions and processes comply with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a SOC or similar environment.
  •  Familiarity with Rocket Cyber or similar security monitoring tools.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of cyber security principles and practices.
  •  Knowledge of common network protocols and operating systems.
  •  Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  •  Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
