Education:

Bachelor’s in Computers/IT

InfoSec or similar certification would be an added advantage (like CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH etc.)


Essential experience:

a) 10+ Years of IT, InfoSec experience

b) Minimum 8 years of experience as Information security

c) Minimum 5 year of experience with Manufacturing and cloud setup such as AWS, Azure

Cloud, Mobility, Digital etc.

d) Should be well-versed with latest technology – RAP, Digitalization

e) Understanding of Manufacturing industry is desirable


Key Roles/ Primary Responsibilities:

This role, part of the IT unit, will be responsible for managing multiple projects & initiatives to secure the organization wrt cyber security. Primary responsibility would be to own the execution of IT security projects from conceptualization to post-implementation and coordinating with stakeholders such as leadership, SMEs and vendors.

  • Key member of the IT unit, will work closely with the IT Head, Global IT Lead & GCDIO for various Information security initiatives
  • Should assist in defining and driving forward the InfoSec roadmap aligning with the Business and IT Strategy
  • Work closely with vendors for planning, executing & supporting Information security projects
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to evangelize the benefits of IT technologies and drive cultural change
  • Actively research new trends and emerging technologies to see how they can bring business value
  • Should have worked on design, build, test and implementation of security systems within an organizations IT network
  • Has a thorough understanding of IT systems to anticipate possible security risks, identify areas of weakness, and respond effectively to possible security breaches.
  • Must think like a malicious hacker to anticipate and defend against information security risks.
  • Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents, experience in responding to security breaches wrt when incidents arise, its assessment causes, damages, and data recovery, preparing thorough reports for the executives.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of relevant industry security standards and protocols including ISO27001 and NIST.
  • Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
  • Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
  • Aware all the latest technology platforms like RPA, BLOCKCHAIN
  • Ensure compliance to SLA, process adherence and process improvisation to achieve operational efficiency
  • Primarily responsible for security event monitoring, management and response


Desired Competencies:

  • Strong project management, vendor management, stakeholder management and budget management skills
  • Good understanding of IT securities such as firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts etc.
  • Experience in requirements analysis and solution design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of working independently or with a small team
  • Strong planning and coordination skills
