We are seeking an experienced Payment Manager to oversee and manage payment operations across the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payments, financial services, or fintech industries with a deep understanding of regional payment systems, regulations, and market dynamics. As a Payment Manager, you will be responsible for leading payment strategies, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with local regulations to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Payment Strategy and Oversight:

  • Develop and execute payment strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends in the APAC region.
  • Monitor and optimize payment operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with payment regulations, laws, and standards across APAC countries.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to payment processes and procedures.

Vendor Management and Partnerships:

  • Manage relationships with payment service providers, banks, and other financial institutions across APAC.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to optimize payment solutions and services.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team responsible for payment operations and compliance in the APAC region.
  • Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to team members.

Payment Performance and Reporting:

  • Monitor payment performance metrics, analyze trends, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance payment processing efficiency and accuracy.

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, sales, and customer support teams, to align payment strategies with business goals.
  • Address customer inquiries and escalations related to payment issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience (6+ years) in payment operations, management, or related roles within the APAC region.

Deep knowledge of payment systems, regulations, and market dynamics across APAC countries.

Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and driving operational excellence.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
