Job Description: Procurement Manager atAutobacsIndia
As aProcurement Manager at Autobacs India you will oversee and managethe procurement process to ensure the timely and costeffectiveacquisition of automotive parts and accessories. Your role will becrucial in maintaining the quality of products optimizing supplychain operations and supporting our businessobjectives.
Responsibilities:ProcurementStrategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategiestailored to the automotive industry focusing on supplier selectioncost management and risk mitigation.SupplierManagement: Identify evaluate and negotiate with suppliers tosecure the best terms quality and delivery schedules. Build andmaintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliablesupply chains.Sourcing and Purchasing:Manage the endtoend procurement process for automotive parts andaccessories including sourcing purchasing and managing inventorylevels.Contract Management: Negotiate andmanage contracts with suppliers ensuring compliance with terms andconditions. Review and approve purchase orders andcontracts.Quality Assurance: Ensure thatprocured products meet the required quality standards andspecifications. Collaborate with quality control teams to addressany issues related to product quality.CostManagement: Monitor and analyze procurement costs to identifyopportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Developstrategies to minimize procurement costs while maintaining productquality and supplier performance.MarketResearch and Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informedabout industry trends pricing and supplier capabilities. Analyzemarket conditions to make informed procurementdecisions.CrossFunctional Collaboration:Work closely with crossfunctional teams including sales inventorymanagement and logistics to align procurement activities withoverall business objectives.Reporting andDocumentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activitiesincluding supplier performance purchase orders and contract terms.Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics andperformance.
Requirements:Masters degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Management BusinessAdministration Automotive Engineering or a relatedfield.5 years of proven experience inprocurement or supply chain management preferably within theautomotive industry.Strong negotiationskills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms withsuppliers.Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability to analyze market trends andprocurement data to make strategicdecisions.Strong understanding ofprocurement processes contract management logistics management andinventory management.Proficiency withprocurement software and tools such as ERP systems (e.g. SAPOracle) and MS Office Suite.Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability tocollaborate effectively with suppliers and internalteams.Ability to work independently andmanage multiple tasks in a fastpacedenvironment.
