A concise glimpse into therole As a key player in our legal and complianceteam your task will involve drafting reviewing and negotiatingvarious agreements ensuring each one aligns seamlessly with ourbusiness objectives and regulatory requirements. Youll be responsiblefor compliance navigating privacy laws across differentjurisdictions and serving as a trusted advisor on legal matters.With a keen eye for detail and a knack for strategic thinking youllplay a crucial role in safeguarding our companys interests whilefostering a culture of compliance integrity and transparency. Yourtime will be invested in ContractManagement:
  • Draft review and negotiate diversecontracts such Channel Partner Agreements OEM Partner Agreementsand Terms of Service/Use.
  • Ensure contractualcompliance and accuracy to safeguard the companys interests andmitigate potential risks.
  • Manage a variety ofagreements including those pertaining to privacy notices employmentNDAs MoUs rent agreements and title deeds to support seamlessbusiness operations.

ComplianceOverview:
  • Stayabreast of regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevantlaws and regulations such as data protection laws (e.g. GDPR CCPA)industryspecific regulations and international laws if the companyoperates globally.
  • Develop and implementprivacy policies terms of service and data processing agreements toprotect customer data and comply with data privacy regulations.
  • Advise on data security best practices andrespond to data breaches or security incidents.
  • Ensure ISO Compliance and training on employeeawareness

LegalAdvisory and Governance:
  • Handlelegal disputes litigation and claims involving the company.
  • Engage with external counsel when necessaryand represent the companys interests in negotiations mediationarbitration or court proceedings.
  • Advise oncorporate governance matters including board meetings corporatestructuring compliance with corporate laws and maintainingcorporate records.
  • Monitoring legislative andregulatory developments that may impact the SaaS industry andadvocating for the companys interests through industry associationslobbying efforts or participation in public consultations.
Qualification
  • LegalBackground: A Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) or arelated field is essential. Further specialization orcertifications in technology law intellectual property law orcontract law may be advantageous.

What s a plus tohave
  • Experience: Prior experience inlegal roles particularly in the technology or SaaS industry ispreferred.
  • Knowledge of SaaS Industry:Familiarity with the SaaS industry including its unique legalchallenges and regulatory requirements is highly beneficial.
  • Technology Familiarity with Office 365 G SuiteDocument management/signing software
