Overview:The GeneralManager Plant Head for Aerospace industry plays a crucial role inoverseeing and managing the operations of the plant ensuringefficient production processes and maintaining highqualitystandards. They are responsible for leading a team and implementingstrategic plans to achieve operational excellence and meetorganizational goals.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Developing andimplementing strategic plans to optimize plantoperations
  • Overseeing the production processesand ensuring compliance with safety and qualitystandards
  • Managing the plant budget resourcesand inventory to meet productiontargets
  • Leading and mentoring a team ofprofessionals to drive performance andproductivity
  • Collaborating with crossfunctionalteams to streamline processes and improveefficiency
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatoryrequirements and industrystandards
  • Implementing continuous improvementinitiatives to enhance operationaleffectiveness
  • Monitoring and analyzingproduction KPIs to identify areas forimprovement
  • Driving initiatives for costreduction and waste elimination
  • Establishingand maintaining positive relationships with suppliers andstakeholders
  • Developing and implementingquality control processes to meet aerospace industrystandards
  • Resolving operational and technicalissues in a timely manner
  • Leading andcoordinating plant expansionprojects
  • Conducting regular performanceevaluations and providing feedback to theteam
  • Preparing regular reports andpresentations for seniormanagement
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inEngineering Business Administration or relatedfield
  • Proven experience in a senior leadershiprole within the aerospace industry
  • Demonstratedexpertise in operations management and strategicplanning
  • Indepth knowledge of aerospacemanufacturing processes and qualitystandards
  • Strong leadership and decisionmakingskills
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal abilities
  • Proven track record ofdriving operational excellence and costreduction
  • Ability to analyze complex data andmake datadriven decisions
  • Experience inimplementing continuous improvementmethodologies
  • Familiarity with regulatoryrequirements and compliance measures in the aerospaceindustry
  • Excellent project managementskills
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced andchallenging environment
  • Certification in LeanSix Sigma or other relevant qualifications is aplus
  • Experience in overseeing plant expansionprojects is highly desirable
