23 yearsexperience designing content or data models and workflows fordigital products Experience with Drupal or asimilar CMS beyond just creating and editing content.Modifying/creating content types understanding fields andrelationships familiarity with headless/decoupled usageExcellent problemsolving skills including using data toinform recommendations Strong verbal andwritten communication skills and an ability break down complexconcepts for a nontechnical audience using data words andvisualizations Strong negotiation skills and awillingness to collaborate and find middle groundA selfstarter mentalityyou enjoy getting into the weedsuntangling complex ecosystems and learning newtechnologies Proven ability to buildrelationships and influence others to actionPassion for supporting educational and careeropportunities for millions of students

RESPONSIBILITIES

Content and MetadataModeling (50%)

  • Develop and refinestructured content and metadata models in the form of authoringtemplates implementation specs to enable delivery or evolution ofnew features and enhance content flexibility andreusability.
  • Map the components of structuredcontent and metadata throughout the delivery pipeline ensuringalignment and data integrity from content creation to featuredevelopment to end user interaction.

Content Management and Workflow(25%)

  • Contribute to the developmentof workflows and processes for creating and maintainingcontent
  • Be the voice of the content creator atCollege Board ensuring that content workflows lifecycles andsupporting tools are sustainable
  • Establishgovernance practices to maintain content quality andconsistency.

Content Strategy and Design (25%)

  • Synthesize user needs and business requirements tocontribute to a clear scalable strategy for deploying informationin multiple formats across our digital products
  • Create strategies for reusing content across differentchannels and contexts.
  • Design test andimplement effective and innovative contentdriven digitalexperiences in our products in collaboration with UX/UI design andresearch
  • Determine when and how to leveragethe use of structured content and implement content managementsolutions to support delivery of key information to ourusers
