Responsibilities:Leads a team in developing highquality software for majortechnology firms. Ensures team successgrowth and productivity providing training andmentorship. Participates in meetingscontributing to development strategies and productroadmap. Reacts quickly to emergingtechnologies producing significant featureenhancements. Sets clear expectations fordirect reports meets regularly for oneononediscussions. Develops plans for team memberslongterm growth with some assistance from divisionlead. Serves as a role model for good codingpractices and functions effectively as a Level 2 SoftwareDevelopment Engineer (L2 SDE). Sets highexpectations for the team effectively communicates expectations andprovides feedback. Identifies tasks andresponsibilities for direct reports to foster theirgrowth. Drives large projects to completionand is viewed as a technical leader in a largedomain. Coordinates with others to deliverproducts requiring multiplecomponents.
Requirements:Provide constructive feedback to team members and demonstrateconflict resolution skills within and acrossteams. Communicate effectively with userstechnical teams and management to gather requirements identifytasks estimate timelines and meet productiondeadlines. Apply professional softwareengineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Offer technical guidance onarchitecture code review and best practices.Possess 1215 years of software development experience and minimum1012 years of team leadership experience.Exhibit knowledge in computer science fundamentals includingobjectoriented design data structures andalgorithms. Fluent in Java or a similarobjectoriented language. Implement andconsume largescale web services with strong problemsolvingskills. Desired experience and skillsinclude excellent written and verbal communication contribution tosoftware design documentation and ability to present complextechnical designs concisely. Work withrelational and NoSQL databases and build highly scalabledistributed software systems. Backendskills: Spring bootNodeJS Python Cloud computing environment Vue.JSPython PHPGo Django Docker GOetc. Requiredfrontend skills: Flutter Angular JSReactJS. Cloud platformskills: AWS (CloudFront Elastic Beanstalk ACM S3 EC2 Lambda) GCP(VM Instance Cloud Run App Engine) Firebase (Cloud MessagingHosting Dynamic Links). DNS management onvarious providers like GoDaddy BigRock and GoogleDomain. Deployment of web services ondifferent cloud platforms including expertise in WordPressdeployment and management. Proficient inApache Solr Apache Tomcat Apache HttpdNginX. Experience taking a project fromscoping requirements through actuallaunch.
